Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) has launched its inaugural product under the Excellerate brand. For more than 10 years Excellerate, a wholly owned brand of FTI, has primarily served as the company’s manufacturing arm, but in 2023 it expanded its purview to create in-house solutions.

The Excellerate eSkid is a configurable, ready-to-install EV charging product designed for above‑ground cable routing. Compatible with multiple charger options, each Excellerate eSkid can power up to eight DC fast chargers in various orientations. With the ability to support up to 1 megawatt of EV charging today — and plans to expand capacity to 2.5 megawatts — officials say the Excellerate eSkid increases efficiency by speeding up the energization process.

“Excellerate has spent more than a decade refining its capabilities to develop innovative modular, skidded solutions that address real-world challenges,” says Jon Branson, vice president and general manager of products at FTI, who adds that the product was well-received at the EV Charging Summit & Expo March 25‑27. He says FTI will continue to showcase the product at industry events and through targeted marketing campaigns.

“The response was overwhelmingly positive,” he says. “What caught everyone’s attention was the eSkid’s flexible configuration options, minimal disruption to the site, and easy‑to‑relocate design.”

Simple deployment, Branson says, is ultimately what makes eSkid stand out in the burgeoning EV charging market.

“It’s configurable, ready to install and requires little site prep,” he says. “Since it’s manufactured in a controlled environment, we can ensure high quality that limits the need for skilled labor on site.”

Officials say the eSkid aligns with FTI’s broader mission to enable the adoption of clean energy solutions, and the product line is already being expanded with additional configurations to meet a broader range of customer and market demands.

“Ultimately,” Branson says, “our goal is to position the eSkid and Excellerate as essential solutions in the evolving EV charging landscape.”
