Wisconsin’s largest manufacturing conference returns to Resch Expo in Green Bay Oct. 30. Registration is now open for the 14th annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, presented by First Business Bank in partnership with the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) and Insight Publications, at manufacturingfirst.com.

“One of the things I value most in my job is bringing people together,” says Ann Franz, NEWMA executive director. “The Manufacturing First Expo & Conference has been one of the greatest avenues for that.”

Nearly 1,300 registrants and 280 exhibitors were part of Manufacturing First 2023 at Resch Expo in Green Bay. The event returns to the same venue Oct. 30, 2024.

Exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting Julie Musial (jmusial@insightonbusiness.com) or Brian Rasmussen (brasmussen@insightonbusiness.com) at Insight Publications. Manufacturing First is an opportunity to reach more than 1,000 business and manufacturing leaders from across not only the 18-county New North region, but all of Wisconsin. The event also attracts more than 300 high school students each year to learn about manufacturing careers.

This year’s keynote speaker is Steve Jones of Jadin Jones Coaching and Consulting, who will present “Developing Leaders Who Grow a Winning Culture.” The five-time-state-champion former Kimberly High School football coach will talk about how to intentionally create and grow a winning culture by developing leaders from within. His presentation is designed to provide actionable steps you can implement immediately to improve connection, mindset, trust and servant leadership within your organization.

“I have heard from many keynote speakers over the years, but the one that has had the greatest impact on me and so many other people I know is Steve Jones,” Franz says. “He is so inspiring and makes you want to lead differently.”

In addition to Jones’ keynote address, the daylong event will also feature informative breakout sessions and a sprawling expo floor with hundreds of exhibits, networking opportunities and prize giveaways.

The early-bird registration rate of $110 is available now through Sept. 7 at manufacturingfirst.com. The individual registration fee will increase to $165 Sept. 8. Exhibitor booths are also available now, starting at $850.

“If you care about manufacturing,” Franz says, “you cannot afford to miss it.”
