WalletHub released its report on the State Economies with the Most Racial Equality to celebrate the places that have closed racial financial gaps the most, as Black U.S. households currently hold $15 in wealth for every $100 held by white households. The study ranked Wisconsin’s economy third-worst in America for racial equality.
It compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across eight key metrics, including white and Black Americans’ annual income, unemployment rate, homeownership rate, and more.
