An online webinar billed as “Reverse Shark Tank: Exploring New Solutions for Old Challenges” will be held May 29.
The Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence in partnership with Performance Excellence Network and the Iowa Quality Center and the Greater Rochester NY Quality Council will host the event featuring three speakers, each sharing a challenge their organization is facing. Participants will break into groups to brainstorm possible solutions. In this way, the speakers get some insights and new ideas to address their challenge, but it also will create a unique forum for sharing best practices across all participants.
The three topics include (speakers to be announced soon):
- Workforce: engagement, retention, and staffing issues
- Leadership effectiveness: communication, succession planning
- Funding challenges: funding loss, tightening budgets
After each speaker presents their challenge, participants will move into breakout rooms and have facilitated dialogue about what solutions have worked in other organizations. Participants get to pick the rooms/topics.
This session is May 29 from 8 to 9 a.m. central time (no pre-webinar networking, as the session will focus heavily on networking & sharing), using Zoom. It is free for PEN/WCPE/IQC members; $20 for non-members. Register here.
