Road America recorded its highest motorcycle racing attendance since motorcycle competition first came to the circuit in 1980 during the MotoAmerica Superbikes and Vintage MotoFest.
The record-setting weekend brought together fans, riders, teams, manufacturers, campers, collectors, and families for three days of high-speed racing, open paddock access, vintage motorcycles, and fan activities.
“This weekend was a tremendous moment for Road America and for the motorcycle racing community,” said Mike Kertscher, Road America’s President and General Manager. “Since motorcycle racing first came here in 1980, fans have shown incredible passion for this sport and this facility. To see that enthusiasm reach a new record is a credit to MotoAmerica, the riders, the teams, our staff, and every fan who made the weekend so special.”
The event featured the premier Superbike class along with a full schedule of support races on Road America’s 4.048-mile circuit. Vintage MotoFest added another layer to the weekend, showcasing the culture, history, and personality of motorcycle racing through ride-in displays, fan experiences, and community-driven activities.
“Each year MotoAmerica at Road America gets better and better,” said Chuck Aksland, COO of MotoAmerica. “This track continues to be a favorite for our teams, riders, and staff. The community Road America has built around these events is incredible. We’re excited to get back in 2027.”
Road America also announced that MotoAmerica Superbikes and Vintage MotoFest will return June 4-6, 2027, and that advance tickets are available.
