New hires
Appleton International Airport made two new hires at the Appleton Flight Center, which serves private aircraft and charter flights with guest services, fuel/maintenance for private aircraft and hangars. Robert Woods was named general manager and Aaron Mlaker was named operations supervisor.
SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic hired Heather Krenn as a new cardiology nurse practitioner in Fond du Lac and Ashley Kluge as a family medicine nurse practitioner.
Jennifer Loyas was named director of marketing and business development for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore. The new 36‑bed medical rehabilitation hospital is scheduled to open this fall in Cleveland, Wisconsin.
GRACE Schools, Green Bay, hired Stephanie Shedrow as its executive director of learning.

Promotions

Gerardo Mercado has joined Fox Communities Credit Union as Fox CU‑Thrive program manager. In addition, Fox Communities Credit Union promoted Heather Wessley to vice president of community impact and Steve Gineris to senior vice president of mortgage lending.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority promoted Erin Libecki as the leader of the commercial lending team.
Kristin Dufek will become CEO of EUA, which has an office in Green Bay, effective Aug. 1 as part of a planned leadership transition. She currently serves as president and will hold both the CEO and president titles during the transition. Current CEO Rich Tennessen will remain active as board chair as he moves into retirement at the end of 2027.

Board appointments
Gov. Tony Evers reappointed Fox Cities Chamber President/CEO Becky Bartoszek to the Council on Workforce Investment.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection certified the 2025 Wisconsin Cherry Board election results. Chris Lautenbach of Fish Creek and Jim Seaquist of Ellison Bay began three-year terms as elected members of the board July 1.
The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay announced the appointment of four new members to its advisory board: Rachel McCutchen, vice president of administration at Live X, Inc.; Kim Pytleski, county clerk of Oconto County; Megan Roberson, planning specialist, marketing and sales of the Green Bay Packers; and Pam Schneider, tax, business and estate planning consultant at von Briesen & Roper. Advisory board members who have completed two, three-year terms include Erica DeQuaine, Lori Harris, Keely Marlowe and Jessie Pondell.
Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity appointed two new board members: Ali Barrett, director of marketing at Breakthrough, and Quasan Shaw, economic development planner of the City of De Pere. The board has also elected new officers: President Steve Arps (Fortifi Bank), Vice President Cindy Treleven (Conway, Olejniczak, & Jerry, S.C..); Secretary Joey Muehlethaler (Nicolet Wealth Management); and immediate past president Lisa Jossart (Greater Green Bay Chamber).
Lakeshore College’s district board of trustees incumbent member Monica Nichter has been reappointed to the board. Newly appointed board members Abbey Quistorf and Mary Parrish, along with Nichter, were sworn in at the board’s organizational meeting July 14. Officers elected for the next term include Nichter, chair; Kim Rooney, vice chair; and Don Pohlman, secretary/treasurer.
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center board of directors welcomed Omar Atassi, Will Flett, Patrick Gill, Morgan O’Regan Hogerty, Steve Murray and Michael Ryan. Outgoing members are Kate Burgess, Tim Galloway, Tom Rettler, Kim Ritzow, Wendy Rosploch, Derrick Sytsma and Mark Willson.

Education
Lakeshore College faculty members released two new books. Communications faculty member Emilie Lindemann recently published “Ghost(ed) Woman & the Electric Purple Pants,” and machining faculty member Mark Lorier authored “Blueprint Reading.”
Patrick Lawton, an educator at New London High School, attended C-SPAN’s Summer Educators’ Conference. Lawton, a social studies teacher, is one of 30 middle and high school educators from across the nation selected to attend the conference.
Lakeshore College announced Kendra Klein, who will graduate from the college’s legal studies/paralegal program in May 2026, was chosen as president of the Wisconsin Student Government. The Manitowoc County resident is the first Lakeshore student to be elected to this position.
