Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group announced on Wednesday the top 16 products moving on in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest. Nearly 40,000 votes were cast over the last week for the 130 nominated products, and the top 16 products will now compete in Manufacturing Madness – a head-to-head tournament-style bracket.
“Congratulations to the top 16 Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin,” said Nick Novak, WMC’s Vice President of Communications & Marketing. “Not only do these products represent the diversity of things made in Wisconsin, they represent the high-tech, high-skill and high-wage career opportunities found in the manufacturing sector. The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest engages the public with the great work being done by our state’s manufacturers.”

The first round of Manufacturing Madness will consist of eight head-to-head matchups that will determine the Top 8 Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin. Individuals can begin voting Sept. 26 at 8 a.m. and voting will conclude at 5 p.m. Oct. 1.
