The Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce, Foundation and Convention & Visitor Bureau has named Jeff Anderson as the organization’s new president and CEO, succeeding Terri Schulz.
Anderson, who started May 1, previously served as the vice president of tourism for the Waupaca Area Convention & Visitor Bureau and more recently as a regional tourism specialist for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism.
“Thank you to the leadership of the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce for entrusting me with this role, and I appreciate this opportunity to return to the organization as its president and CEO,” said Anderson. “I look forward to supporting our community by working with local businesses and organizations through established relationships and programs while seeking additional opportunities for collaboration and partnership.”
Adam Ross, chair of the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, said, “Anderson’s focus on relationship-building and vast industry knowledge makes him the ideal choice to lead our organization.”
Anderson also has served as a youth agency executive and managed a health care foundation in central Wisconsin.
Anderson and his wife, Melissa, have been residents of the Waupaca area for 14 years along with their son, Mason. Melissa works as the manager of the Waupaca County Aging and Disability Resource Center, and Mason is a student at Waupaca Middle School.
