Julie Meyer was named chief executive officer of Catalpa Health and president of Catalpa Foundation.
Meyer has served as Catalpa’s interim CEO since December 2024 and as a Catalpa board member and treasurer since 2020.
In her new role, Meyer will guide Catalpa Health to help children and families improve mental health and wellness, while also serving as president of the Catalpa Foundation to ensure alignment and transparency between boards.
“Ensuring every child has access to the behavioral health care they need to thrive is the mission that drives me, and my focus is on guiding strategy and aligning our team and operations so Catalpa can serve every child who needs us,” Meyer said.
Meyer comes to Catalpa from ThedaCare, where she has served as director of behavioral health since 2018.
Catalpa Health serves children and their families through clinics in Appleton and Oshkosh, as well as services in more than 30 area schools.
