Acuity Insurance announced President Melissa Winter has been named to the company’s board of directors.
“Melissa has proven her capabilities as our company president and leader of our strong, capable executive team,” said Acuity board chairman Bob Willis.
“Having worked with Melissa for many years at Acuity, I know she will complement the diversity and strength of our board that will help lead Acuity into the future,” said Acuity CEO Ben Salzmann. “Her selection as our newest director also continues our carefully planned leadership transition.”
Winter began her career at Acuity in 1998 in the claims department and held various positions of increasing responsibility. She was named vice president – business consulting in 2016 and company president in 2023.
“It is a great responsibility and true honor to serve on our board of directors,” she said. “I appreciate their commitment to supporting and sustaining Acuity and look forward to serving alongside my board colleagues as we help our company grow and prosper.”
