Froedtert ThedaCare Health, Inc. announced Robert Cavagnol became the new president of its north region July 29.

He assumes the role as Imran Andrabi transitions to president and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare.

Cavagnol will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of the combined organization’s north region, which encompasses the Fox Valley and five surrounding rural markets, as well as the Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Manitowoc and Sheboygan areas.

Cavagnol joins Froedtert ThedaCare Health, Inc. from St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho, where he held various leadership positions, including clinic president. He also held numerous leadership roles with Mercy Health System in Missouri.

In addition to his civilian career, Cavagnol served as a surgeon in the U.S. Navy from 2005-2008, completing his service as a Lieutenant Commander. He was deployed to Fallujah, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cavagnol received his master’s degree in health care administration from Missouri State University and his medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine.
