Todd Sandberg was named CEO of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore.
The new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital is scheduled to open this fall in the Manitowoc County village of Cleveland.
Sandberg spent the last 17 years in executive health care leadership roles. He recently served as CEO of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Elwood-St. Joseph, as well as at two acute care hospitals in Minnesota and a medical rehabilitation hospital in Wyoming. He also has led rehabilitation programs in Illinois, Arkansas and Minnesota.
“Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with adult populations that benefited from specialized rehabilitative care, so I’m excited to lead efforts to open ClearSky Lakeshore,” Sandberg said.
Sandberg earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology with a cardiac rehabilitation emphasis from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. He earned a master’s degree in cardiac rehabilitation and exercise science from East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and a master’s of business administration in health care management from Regis University in Denver.
