In Wisconsin, 8,000 diverse manufacturing companies employ nearly 500,000 people. Wouldn’t it be great for these employers to know what their employees are really thinking?
This is one reason Insight has partnered with Workforce Research Group to conduct a comprehensive new survey for manufacturers statewide that will identify Wisconsin’s best manufacturing workplaces.
Sponsored by Werner Electric Supply, Best Places to Work in Manufacturing entails a survey designed to assess various aspects of workplace culture, employee satisfaction and organizational practices. Manufacturers must apply to participate in the free survey by May 31.
Once registered, companies will be contacted by WRG to start the survey process. Employers are asked to fill out questionnaires about their companies, while employees are asked to participate in confidential surveys that are worth 80% of a company’s overall score. Both online and offline options are available to accommodate what’s best for your workforce. With the exception of those companies receiving awards, this assessment is completely confidential. The highest-ranking companies will be recognized in IOM and during the inaugural awards event at Lambeau Field Nov. 13.
Recognition as one of the state’s best manufacturing workplaces bolsters reputation and credibility. Participating companies will receive digital and physical badges that symbolize their commitment to fostering positive work environments. Since workforce issues are still one of manufacturers’ top concerns, this is a huge opportunity to increase talent attraction and retention.
In addition, participants gain access to comparative data, allowing them to assess their performance against industry peers across the state. Survey results, available in August, provide insights for organizational improvement and strategic planning.
I encourage you to seize the chance to stand out in the competitive manufacturing landscape. Visit insightonbusiness.com/bptw to sign up today.
