Vault 202 Brewery at 202 W. College Ave., Appleton,. will hold a grand opening Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. after it being open for the Mile of Music festival weekend.
Vault 202 is in the 1962 First National Bank building and the restored interior includes terazzo floors, marble columnsm ceramic tile and a vault room with the vault door intact. It serves craft beer, including some brewed on site, cocktails, wine, and a menu of pizzas and shareable bites.
“We wanted a name that was easy to remember and tied to the location,” said Vault 202 investor, Cindy Stuedmann. “’Meet me at the Vault’ just had a ring to it. It’s fun and fitting.”
Vault 202 aims to be a community hub.
“Appleton has an amazing brewery scene already,” Vault 202 Operations Manager, Scott Krebsbach, shared. “We wanted to add to that with something unique where the drinks are delicious, but the vibe and experience really make people want to stay.”
Vault 202 features a 10-barrel brewing system and plans to offer a wide variety of beers.
