Taverne in The Sky, on the fifth level of Lodge Kohler in Green Bay — with its bank of windows overlooking Lambeau Field and world-class cuisine — may be the most iconic place in all of New North to impress an out-of-town business associate.
“It’ll definitely do that,” Jerry Murphy, executive director of New North Inc., said as he gazed at the stadium over lunch there on a recent weekday. “You’ve got a lot of brand value out the window — with the Packers stadium, Kohler — and in the experience.”

Tell your server you’re pressed for time and you’re treated to an expertly paced meal. For a dish truly unique to the area, try the Smoked Sturgeon Dip as an appetizer ($18). A good choice for salad is the generously sized Chicken Chopped ($13), and for a sandwich, you can’t beat the Cracker-Crusted Walleye Ruben ($18) for an authentic Wisconsin dish, Kohler style. In the off-season, it’s a relaxed experience. On game days in the fall, plan your strategy to get there early!
