ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh, 250 W. Sixth Ave., will welcome first patients Jan. 19.

There will be an open house Jan. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m.

“With the opening of ThedaCare Medical Center–Oshkosh, we’re making it easier for patients and families in northeast and central Wisconsin to get the care they need, close to home,” said Lynn Detterman, President of the North Region of Froedtert ThedaCare. “This new campus strengthens the trusted relationships we’ve built in the region and ensures seamless access to specialized services through our connected system of care.”

Nearly 73% of Oshkosh’s residents live east of Interstate 41, while most of the current health care services are located west of I-41, meaning east-side residents are more than 15 minutes away from a hospital or emergency room.
