Ground was broken for a $3 million expansion at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake.

The 510 Mill Street building, which has housed Thrasher’s offices, art gallery, and bar will be updated. There will be additional outdoor space incorporated.

In addition to improving accessibility and ensuring ADA compliance, the renovation will improve the gallery and lounge space.

The Thrasher’s website says it is needed to increase revenue and guest experience.
