Three honored with Ethics in Action Awards

Foundations Health & Wholeness, a Brown County-based nonprofit, honored three 2024 Ethics in Action Award recipients Oct. 24 at Lambeau Field.

Honored were:

  • Barb Bigalke, executive director and founder of the Center for Suicide Awareness and creator of the HOPELINE;
  • Devon Christianson,  of the Brown County ADRC who created the Grounded Cafe;
  • Sara Williams, for her advocacy work with JOSHUA of Green Bay and other organizations and her commitment to equality.

Foundations Health & Wholeness was thrilled to have honored the efforts and accomplishments of these award winners with more than 300 guests in attendance. The Ethics in Action Honors event is an annual event, and community members are encouraged to nominate people who are creating healthier workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. Nominations are accepted year-round, and the nomination form and frequently asked questions can be found at https://wearefoundations.org/ethics-in-action/award-nominations/. To have a nominee considered for the 2025 Ethics in Action event, please have your nomination completed for review by May 31, 2025.

The event raised more than $130,000 to support mental health care for children, teens, adults, and families in financial need, as well as Foundations’ community-based mental health care services.
