Trout Museum opening at new site

The Trout Museum of Art will open in its new location at 325 E. College Ave., Appleton, Oct. 10.

There will be a member preview night from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 10 with refreshments and the opportunity to see the new exhibt spaces and studios.

The public grand opening is Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a ribbon cutting to start the day at the corner of Drew Street and College Avenue.

Drop in to paint a pumpkin from 10 a.m. to noon in the outdoor classroom and rsvp for a pop up art class at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the new studios.

At 1 p.m., there will be an  In Dialogue Panel with Jenie Gao: Art and Community

Guided tours will be offered at 9:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m., but attendees can tour the galleries, studio spaces, and back-of-house on their own all day.
