Two leaders of the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh received honors at the annual BGCA – Wisconsin Area Council & Directors Conference in Madison.

Lifetime Board Member Dave Elbing has been inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wisconsin Hall of Fame, and CEO Tracy Ogden has been named CEO of the Year.

Elbing’s induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wisconsin Hall of Fame reflects his 36 years of service. A dedicated Lifetime Board Member and past president (1995-1996), he has consistently gone above and beyond. He was instrumental in restructuring the board to increase efficiency, and he has actively volunteered at fundraising events, delivered Thanksgiving meals, and supported facility improvements, from gardening to managing office remodels.

Dave’s contributions also extend to mentoring youth and leading the safety committee. As a member of the Building Committee, he helped fundraise for a $19 million capital project.

Ogden’s recognition as CEO of the Year underscores her exemplary leadership and visionary approach to advancing the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh. As the first female CEO of the organization, Tracy has set a new standard for leadership during her 15-year tenure.

Under her guidance, the Club has expanded its facilities and created the Hyde Family Community Center, significantly increasing its capacity to serve youth and families. Today, the Club can welcome an additional 150 youth daily (450 total daily), providing access to tailored programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.

Her vision for the Hyde Family Community Center has fostered collaboration among more than 20 local organizations, creating a one-stop hub for essential services like mental health support, education, and workforce development.

“Tracy is one of the most generous people I have ever met,” says Chief Operating Officer Lindsay Clark. “She always puts others first and thinks about what they need. She’s the first to wish someone a happy birthday, send a meal via Instacart when they’re sick, check in with a text when something’s happened, or reach out when she hears someone is struggling. Tracy is caring, kind, and exceptional at building meaningful connections with every staff member in the building.”
