The U.S. lost 92,000 jobs in the month of February, Business Insider reported.
It was expected that the month would see a gain of 55,000 jobs.
Unemployment also rose to 4.4%.
A jobs revision also saw January’s job growth changed from 130,000 to 126,000. December’s revision went from a gain of 48,000 to a loss of 17,000.

Overall, there were 69,000 fewer jobs added over the two-month period than previously reported.
