Thanks to the ongoing partnership between UW-Green Bay and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, fans and students can dive deeper into this legacy through a new course, Greatest Offensive Players in Green Bay Packers History.
This collaboration celebrates the green and gold tradition that continues to inspire.
The ‘Greatest Offensive Players in Green Bay Packers History’ virtual course explores three eras of offensive play, the Lambeau Era, Lombardi Era and Beyond and the Modern Era. Each era comprises three sessions. Participants can listen in ‘live’ on Wednesdays, beginning on January 7 through March 4, 2026 from 1-2:30 p.m. The cost is $119 for all nine sessions.
The instructor is Brent Hensel, curator, Packers Hall of Fame. Hensel is responsible for preserving more than a century of Green Bay Packers organization history. The Hall of Fame gets to record, safeguard and illustrate all the special moments that happen on and off the field each season, and then share it with Packers fans everywhere.
Lambeau Era: Sessions 1-3
The Lambeau Era sessions explore the great offensive players from the early years that included vibrant nicknames like Curly Lambeau, Lavvie Dilweg, Red Dunn, Johnny Blood and the incomparable Don Hutson who dominated play like few others over the history of the NFL.
Lombardi and Beyond Era: Sessions 4-6
The Lombardi Era and Beyond sessions go behind the scenes with Starr, Hornung and Taylor, who combined for three NFL MVP awards.
The Modern Era: Sessions 7-9
The Lombardi Era and Beyond sessions go behind the scenes with Starr, Hornung and Taylor, who combined for three NFL MVP awards.
