The third annual UW-Green Bay Giving Day raised $262,604 marking a 28.2% increase over last year and underscoring the powerful role UW-Green Bay plays in strengthening the region it serves.

Giving Day spotlights the impact of education across UW-Green Bay’s 16-county footprint, supporting students and programs that fuel the workforce and enrich communities throughout northeast Wisconsin.

“We saw Phoenix pride in action,” said Dr. Dawn Crim, vice chancellor for advancement and community engagement, and president of the UW-Green Bay Foundation. “Giving Day allowed donors to invest in what matters most to them, whether it’s student success, high-impact internships, the arts or athletics, while advancing UW-Green Bay’s mission to graduate future-focused, workforce ready leaders for our region.”

Donations support need-based scholarships for UW-Green Bay undergraduate students, over a third of whom come from low-income households. Gifts also strengthen high-demand academic programs aligned with the region’s workforce needs including engineering, education and nursing, as well as student success initiatives.
