The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will hold a webinar June 25 from 1 to 2 p.m. as it seeks to develop an initial portfolio of fundable projects for the Green Innovation Fund.
WEDC, via the Green Innovation Fund, has been invited to submit to an initial call for projects by the Coalition for Green Capital, a national green bank. Projects submitted before July 2, 2024, will have the opportunity to compete for financing from the National Clean Investment Fund, a subprogram of the U.S EPA Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, awarded directly to CGC. Projects submitted after this date will be considered for future financing rounds from the Green Innovation Fund, national green banks, and other potential sources as funding becomes available.
