The Moraine Park Foundation received a $125,000 donation from West Bend Insurance Company to help outfit the new Advanced Manufacturing Center.
To support the West Bend Campus expansion, the Moraine Park Foundation spearheaded a $2 million campaign to fund the equipment for the Advanced Manufacturing Center. This capital expense was intentionally separated from the referendum dollars to help keep the taxpayer burden at a minimum. The foundation is currently connecting with district partners to help meet the equipment needs. To date, 22 partners have contributed over $1.8 million toward meeting these equipment needs.
The West Bend Advanced Manufacturing Center will provide hands-on training for students entering high-skill, high-demand careers, ensuring a talent pipeline for local industry.
