Wisconsin DOR reports statewide equalized value tops $1 trillion

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue released its annual Equalized Values Report and it shows Wisconsin’s total statewide equalized property value as of Jan 1, topped $1 trillion.

There was an 8% increase over the prior year. Growth occurred in all property classes and was led by value changes in residential and commercial property. Equalized values are based on data from Jan. 1, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2025.

Buffalo County saw the largest increase at 16.40% followed by Green Lake and Rusk at 15.37% and 15.29%, respectively.
