Wisconsin HER Day event offers free professional development opportunity

We EmpowHER and the Wisconsin Herd announce the return of Wisconsin HER Day Friday, March 14 at Oshkosh Arena. This free event aims to empower Wisconsin women both personally and professionally.

This year’s third annual event features two keynote presenters: Carbliss Co-founder Amanda Kroener and New Sage Strategies Founder and President Vicki Updike.

Attendees can participate in panel discussions, breakout workshops and networking tailored to foster professional growth and personal empowerment.

  • Family & Relationships featuring Kaitlyn Kenealy – LPC and award-winning entrepreneur and author of the award-winning book, “Healing is Messy AF”
  • Self-Discovery featuring Christa Williams – Executive Director of Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach 
  • Financial Wellness featuring Jennifer Smith – Founder and CEO of Jennerous Solutions, Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and financial coach of 25 years 

Founded in 2017, We EmpowHER is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through mentorship, education and community engagement, with programs expanding across multiple Wisconsin communities.

“This day is an ideal opportunity for women to invest in their professional development while connecting with others who share similar goals and passions,” said Theresa Menting, founder and executive director of We EmpowHER. “Wisconsin HER Day is more than an event — it’s a movement focused on lifting each other up and cultivating leadership, confidence and empowerment.”

The event is free of charge, making it an affordable way for organizations to offer employees a valuable professional development opportunity. In addition, paid VIP opportunities are available, providing exclusive benefits and additional professional development resources.

Wisconsin HERD HER Day

After the conclusion of HER Day programming, the Herd changes its name to the HER for one game in honor of women’s achievements.
