A northeast Wisconsin village may get a data center, but residents are already rallying against the development.
According to Wisconsin Public Radio, Wrightstown is a possible data center location, though nothing is official.
A Tuesday evening community meeting on data centers saw residents out in force speaking against such a development.
Village Board President Dean Erickson said there was no proposal now, but WPR received emails in an open records request showing Wrightstown officials to have been in communication with Cloverleaf Infrastructure about a data center project back in January.
